Having lived in Surrey and Essex as a renter, seller, and buyer, Stuart intimately understands the complexities and potential pitfalls of each process – both as a seasoned professional and someone who's personally navigated them. Frustrated by the corporate, impersonal nature of the industry, Stuart founded Arthur Samuel in 2011 to deliver a service truly aligned with his values: caring, personalized, and fairly priced.

Stuart Benson, the founder and owner of Arthur Samuel Estate Agents, has a rich life outside of his successful career. He lives in Walton-on-Thames with his partner, Francesca, and their baby daughter, Evelina. The family enjoys spending time outdoors, making the most of the local area. They often go for walks along the towpath and in the local parks. For dining and relaxation, they frequent local spots, including pubs like The Anglers on the River Thames and Prima Fila, a popular Italian restaurant in town.
Stuart is a big sports fan with a particular passion for boxing and football. He is a devoted supporter of West Ham United, though he had to give up his season ticket after the arrival of his daughter, Evelina. This decision highlights his commitment to balancing his personal hobbies with his new role as a father. Another of his hobbies is fishing.
Stuart Benson's career is marked by a diverse and interesting journey. He began his professional life as a soldier in the British Army, serving in various locations around the world, including Afghanistan.
After his military service, Stuart transitioned into the real estate industry. He worked as an area manager for the Countrywide Property Group, which is one of the largest estate agencies in the UK. During this time, he managed multiple successful branches and earned several awards for his performance.
In September 2011, Stuart decided to pursue his own vision for real estate. He established Arthur Samuel Estate Agents, an independent agency he runs himself. His goal was to create a business that offered a more personal and caring service to clients, moving away from the "faceless corporate industry" he had grown tired of. He has been the owner and director ever since and is an industry expert with over 20 years' experience in Surrey and London.
